Dr Samuel Tewelde Yigzaw
Dr. Samuel Yigzaw is a seasoned IT professional and academic with over 23 years of experience in the fields of computer science, information systems, and educational technologies. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Eastern Finland and an MPhil degree from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. Dr. Yigzaw’s career spans roles in IT administration, higher education leadership, and international ICT projects coordination.
He has served as the Head of Computer Engineering and Dean of the College of Engineering & Technology in Eritrea, where he led curriculum development, department establishment, and international ICT collaborations. He also held key positions as an ICT Director and Tele-Education Coordinator, overseeing large-scale ICT and educational technology projects.
Currently engaged in European higher education consortium research projects and teaching at the University of Eastern Finland, Dr. Yigzaw’s expertise covers knowledge management systems, network administration, ICT project management, and educational technologies. His consultancy work focuses on leveraging his extensive background in higher education leadership & curriculum development, Technology enhanced knowledge management, digitization, and EdTech development.

Dr Aklilu Daniel Tesfamicael
Dr. Aklilu Daniel Tesfamicael earned a Master's degree in Information Technology from the University of South Australia in Adelaide and a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Cybersecurity from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane.
With over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, he has held various roles within the Australian Government and across different industries, including Lead Enterprise Architect, IT Manager, Lead Solution Architect, Lead Network Architect, and IT Consultant. He has played a crucial role in assisting numerous clients with their digital transformation efforts.
Dr. Tesfamicael has managed a wide range of IT projects in sectors such as energy, transport, finance, and government departments.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Dr. Tesfamicael is a lecturer at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Victoria University, James Cook University, and Kaplan Business School. He teaches courses in Cybersecurity, IT Strategy, Networks, Project Management, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain. His research primarily focuses on Cybersecurity, Networks, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Computing. Furthermore, he is active in the professional community as a member of a school board, Australian Computer Society and the IEEE.
